Dr. Roy Hessels is an Associate Professor in the Department of Experimental Psychology at Utrecht University, affiliated with the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences and the Kemner Helmholtz Institute. His research focuses on eye-tracking methodologies, gaze behavior in social interactions, developmental psychology, and the application of wearable technologies in psychological research. Hessels holds a PhD in Psychology from Utrecht University (2017) and has contributed extensively to improving eye-tracking technology reliability and standardization.
