Roy Anderson is an Adjunct Professor and Guest Lecturer in Supply Chain Management programs at Northeastern University, Clemson University, and Rutgers University. He serves on their Supply Chain Management advisory councils, integrating academic rigor with industry insights. His career spans over four decades in procurement technology and digital transformation, with leadership roles including Chief Procurement and Digital Transformation Officer at Tradeshift, Managing Director at GoProcure, and Chief Procurement Officer at State Street Bank and MetLife. He has also held senior procurement roles at John Hancock, Fidelity Investments, Textron Corp., and Raytheon Company.
Roy’s professional focus includes tail spend technology, innovation across supplier ecosystems, and strategic procurement solutions for universities and mid-sized enterprises. He is recognized for his contributions to teaching excellence, having received the 2023-24 Teaching Innovation & Excellence (TIE) Award.
