Roxane Permar

Roxane Permar is a visual artist and researcher affiliated with the Cultural Institute for Northern Studies at the University of the Highlands and Islands. She specializes in social practice art, engaging with themes of location, history, and community. Her work is deeply rooted in Shetland, where she has led projects such as Mirrie Dancers (2009–2012), a light-based collaboration with Nayan Kulkarni.
