Roxana Daneshjou is an Assistant Professor at Stanford University with joint appointments in the Department of Biomedical Data Science and Dermatology. She directs informatics for the Stanford Skin Innovation and Interventional Research Group (SIIRG) and co-founded the Translational AI in Dermatology (TRAIND) group. She serves as faculty affiliate for Human-centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI) and AI in Medicine and Imaging (AIMI) centers.

Her research focuses on applying artificial intelligence to dermatology, pharmacogenomics, and medical imaging. She develops frameworks for AI evaluation (TRIPOD-LLM, RIDGE) and investigates bias in medical AI systems. Recent work explores ChatGPT's role in multilingual patient care and clinical trial optimization.
