Roslyn L. Christopher

Roslyn L. Christopher is an Associate Professor of the Practice at the University of Kansas School of Social Welfare. She holds a Bachelors in Social Psychology from Ottawa University, an MSW from the University of Kansas, and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Baker University. She also holds a Play Therapy Certification from the Kansas City Play Therapy Institute.

Her teaching focuses on Social Work Practice I & II, Crisis Intervention, Human Behavior in the Social Environment, Cultural Diversity, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. She has served as an adjunct lecturer and practicum instructor at KU since 2011.

Dr. Christopher is affiliated with the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and the KU Black Faculty Staff Council. Her expertise spans social work practice, educational leadership, and culturally responsive interventions.
