Rosemary Saunders is an Associate Professor at Edith Cowan University (ECU) School of Nursing and Midwifery, Research Fellow at Hollywood Private Hospital (Ramsay Health Care), and Adjunct Research Officer at Sir Charles Gairdner Health Care Group. Her roles include teaching, clinical research, and leadership in nursing education and aged care. She holds a PhD from the University of Sydney (2018), Master of Public Health (Curtin, 1998), and earlier nursing qualifications.
Her research focuses on Older Adult Care, Stroke Care, Volunteers in Healthcare, Safety & Quality, and End of Life Care. Notable projects include the Australian Frailty Network and interventions for dementia caregivers. She has supervised over 20 graduate students and led grants totaling AUD 2.5M+.
