Rosemary McBride is an Assistant Lecturer in Agricultural Education at the University of Wyoming’s School of Teacher Education. Her research focuses on improving rural learning environments in Career and Technical Education (CTE), teacher recruitment, and community-based program design. She holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction from UW, an M.S. in Agriculture and Resource Economics from UC Davis, and a B.A. in Economics and Agronomy from Utah State University.
Teaching responsibilities include supervising pre-service teachers and leading courses like Secondary Agricultural Education Methods and Agricultural Mechanics and Technology. She advises the Alpha Tau Alpha student organization and actively participates in statewide FFA activities. McBride’s research explores culturally situated learning in CTE, barriers to STEM transfer in Wyoming’s community colleges, and entrepreneurial education integration in agricultural curricula.
Her awards include the ECMC Foundation Postsecondary CTE Research Fellowship (2021–2022) and recognition for teaching excellence. She collaborates on grants like the ECMC-funded ‘Integrating Entrepreneurship with Postsecondary CTE Faculty Learning Communities’ and contributed to the Wyoming Governor’s ENDOW initiative. Her service roles include Wyoming State FFA Environmental Superintendent (2015–2021).
