Rosemary I. Weatherston

Dr. Rosemary I. Weatherston is Associate Professor of English at University of Detroit Mercy, Director of the Dudley Randall Center for Print Culture and University of Detroit Mercy Press, and Co-Director of Women’s and Gender Studies. She teaches courses in fiction studies, narrative medicine, literature/medicine connections, and women’s studies.

Weatherston's scholarship focuses on narrative approaches to healthcare, literary representations of the body, and gender studies. She serves as curriculum consultant for Henry Ford Health System and co-chairs the Health Humanities Consortium's Curriculum and Assessment committee. Her publications examine intersections between literary studies, medical practice, and health equity.
