Rose Corrigan serves as Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education, Associate Professor of Law, and Associate Professor of Politics at Drexel University's Thomas R. Kline School of Law. Her interdisciplinary research examines criminal justice systems, sexual violence policy, and social movements through legal and feminist theoretical frameworks.
Research focuses on:
- Rape law reform implementation challenges
- Intersection of legal systems and victim advocacy
- Media representations of gender-based violence
- Policy impacts on marginalized communities
Her scholarship analyzes how legal frameworks construct victim identities and institutional responses. Recent work investigates forensic evidence collection practices, disclosure regulations in financial communications, and governance implications of internal controls. Publications demonstrate consistent focus on power dynamics in legal institutions and policy implementation gaps.
Dr. Corrigan directs undergraduate law programs and teaches courses on courts and public policy, law and society, and social movements. She brings 15+ years of experience from reproductive rights and violence prevention organizations.
