Dr. Rose Atkins is a Research Fellow in Health Economics at the University of Manchester's Division of Population Health, Health Services Research & Primary Care. Her research examines health inequalities, social determinants of health, and the relationship between health outcomes and geographical factors. She investigates childhood skill formation impacts on life outcomes and adolescent mental health predictors.
Education includes:

- MSc in Economics (University of Manchester, 2017)
- BA in Economics (University of Manchester, 2016)
Her research employs multidisciplinary approaches to develop novel health geography metrics and analyze socioeconomic outcomes at granular spatial levels. Current projects include establishing a health equity institute and examining gender-specific impacts of family structure changes.
