Rose-Anne Gush is an Assistant Professor at the IZK Institute for Contemporary Art, TU Graz. She is an art historian, theorist, and educator with a focus on political aesthetics, transnational surrealism, and critical engagements with capitalism and gender.

Her articles in FKW, Third Text, and Performance Research interrogate intersections of body, violence, and historical memory.
Scientific awards include the Juliane and Franz Roh Post-Doctoral Fellowship (2020) and a DFK Paris Research Grant (2021). Her teaching spans universities in Europe and the UK, including Slade School of Fine Art and University of Leeds.
