Rosara R. Torrisi

Dr. Rosara R. Torrisi is an Assistant Professor in the Human Sexuality Studies program at Widener University and an Adjunct Professor at SUNY Farmingdale. She holds a PhD in Human Sexuality from Widener University, a Master of Education in Human Sexuality, and a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University.

Her research and teaching focus on accessibility and sex, clinical recommendations for sex therapists, and comprehensive sexuality education. She founded the Long Island Institute of Sex Therapy (LIIST), which provides specialized patient care and clinician training, and co-hosts the podcast "Our Better Half".
