Rosalind W. Picard is a Professor of Media Arts and Sciences and the Grover M. Hermann Professor in Health Sciences and Technology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She directs MIT’s Affective Computing research group, pioneering wearable technologies and AI for mental health monitoring, emotion detection, and stress management. Her work bridges computer science, neuroscience, and clinical applications.
