John D. E. Gabrieli is the Grover M. Hermann Professor in the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at MIT. He also serves as Director of the Athinoula A. Martinos Imaging Center and Investigator at the McGovern Institute for Brain Research. His research focuses on neurodevelopmental and mental health conditions, employing MRI and EEG technologies to understand brain structure and function.
He holds affiliations with the Institute for Medical Engineering and Science (IMES) and leads interdisciplinary teams at MIT's neuroscience institutes. His work aims to translate brain science into clinical applications for autism, dyslexia, ADHD, anxiety, and depression.
