Rosalind Temple

Rosalind Temple is a University Lecturer in French Linguistics and Fellow of New College at the University of Oxford. She holds an MA, MPhil, and a PhD from the University of Wales. Her research focuses on the intersection of phonetics/phonology and variationist linguistics, with particular emphasis on variability in fine phonetic detail and its theoretical implications. She has conducted studies on French, English, and Welsh, exploring topics such as dialectal variation, sociolinguistic identity, and language contact.
