Rosabel Ansari

Rosabel Ansari is an Assistant Professor at Stony Brook University, specializing in Classical and post-classical Islamic philosophy, Graeco-Arabic Studies, and the philosophy of language. She holds a Ph.D. from Georgetown University (2020) and a B.A. from the University of Cambridge (2012). Her research focuses on the transmission of Ancient Greek philosophy into Arabic and the interplay between rational and supra-rational knowledge systems in Islamic thought.
