Professor Rory Naismith is a leading scholar in early medieval English history at the University of Cambridge. He holds the position of Professor of Early Medieval English History in the Department of Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic Studies and is a Fellow of Corpus Christi College. Naismith specializes in the intersection of economic and social developments in Anglo-Saxon England, with a particular focus on numismatics, material culture, and documentary evidence.
