Roopa Venkatesh

Dr. Roopa Venkatesh is a Professor and Director of the School of Accounting at the University of Nebraska at Omaha's College of Business Administration. She holds a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification and is actively involved with professional organizations such as the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), where she serves on the Global Board of Directors and chairs key committees. Her research focuses on managerial accounting, auditing, and the impact of XBRL on audit processes, drawing from psychology and organizational behavior theories. She teaches intermediate and advanced managerial accounting courses and has published in journals like Journal of Management Accounting Research and Accounting Horizons.
