Ronnie L. Chastain is a certified athletic trainer and Lecturer at Clarks Summit University, with over 20 years of experience in collegiate and high school sports healthcare. He has held roles such as Athletic Healthcare Administrator and Covid Administrator, contributing to student athletic healthcare programs and facility development.
- Master of Arts in Health and Exercise Science from Furman University
- Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine from Valdosta State University
He is certified by the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA), licensed in Pennsylvania, and holds CPR and AED certifications from the American Heart Association. Chastain has served as a preceptor for Marywood University's Master’s program, mentoring students, and previously worked at Union College and North Laurel High School in Kentucky.
His professional focus includes athletic training, healthcare education, and mentoring future healthcare professionals. At Clarks Summit, he has developed undergraduate programs for aspiring athletic trainers and physical therapists, emphasizing gospel-centered care for student-athletes through healthcare initiatives and collaborations with local medical professionals.
