Ronnie Grinberg is an Associate Professor in the Department of History at the University of Oklahoma and a core faculty member at the Schusterman Center for Judaic and Israel Studies. Her research focuses on American Jewish history, modern U.S. history, and women's and gender history.
Her forthcoming book, Write Like a Man: Jewish Masculinity and the New York Intellectuals (2024, Princeton University Press), and her article in the Journal of American History (Dec 2023) highlight her contributions to gender and intellectual history studies. She currently serves as the book editor for the Journal of Women’s History.
Her publications and research emphasize themes such as Jewish masculinity, neoconservatism, and the intersection of gender and political ideology in 20th-century America. She regularly teaches courses on twentieth-century American history, women’s and gender history, and American Jewish history.
