Rongbin Xu is a Research Fellow at Monash University's School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, where he completed his PhD (2018–2021). His research focuses on evaluating health and epigenetic impacts of climate-related environmental factors such as extreme temperatures, wildfires, air pollution, and greenspace. He has authored/co-authored 23 first/co-first author papers in high-impact journals like Nature, NEJM, and Lancet Planetary Health. His work has influenced global policy, including references by WHO and the Australian Parliament.
