Ronald de Wit

Prof. Ronald de Wit is a Principal Investigator at Erasmus MC, leading the Clinical and Translational Research Program of Genito Urinary Medical Oncology within the Department of Medical Oncology. His work focuses on phase 1-3 clinical trials and translational research in urological cancers, including prostate, bladder, and renal cancer.

• Divisional leadership: Founding and current Chairman of the Dutch Uro-Oncology Study Group (DUOS)
• Collaborations: Partnerships with European research networks, PCCTC in the US, and Erasmus MC departments (Urology, Pathology, Radiotherapy, Computational Sciences)
• Research emphasis: Circulating tumor cells, exosomes, gene profiling, and biomarker discovery for prostate and bladder cancers

His team collaborates with workgroups on Early Clinical Trials, Translational Pharmacology, and Personalized Medicine, while also integrating with the Center for Personalized Cancer Treatment (CPCT) consortium.
