Ronald Stevenson is an Associate Professor of Teaching and Director of Forensics at Wayne State University. He has been instrumental in leading the university's award-winning debate team, which has consistently ranked in the Top 20 nationally since 2002.

Research Interests focus on argumentation and rhetoric in contemporary political and legal contexts, with expertise in persuasive campaigns, social movements, and national security discourse. He teaches courses on legal argument, public address, and rhetorical criticism.
Responsibilities include co-chairing the National Debate Tournament (NDT) District Five Committee, evaluating tournament bids, and organizing debate structures nationally. He has taught a wide range of communication courses, including COM 2110 (Argumentation and Debate), COM 4110 (Legal Argument), and graduate-level seminars on political campaigns.
Scientific Awards include a full-ride fellowship for debate coaching and academic excellence at Baylor University.
