Dr. Ronald Schwengner is a researcher in the Nuclear Physics Department at Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR), specializing in gamma-ray strength functions and their applications to nuclear astrophysics and transmutation technologies. His work focuses on experimental and theoretical studies of photon-induced and neutron-induced nuclear reactions, particularly at facilities like γELBE, HIγS, ILL Grenoble, and UJV Rez-Prague.
