معرفی
Volodymyr Plujko is a Professor in the Nuclear Physics Department at the Physical Faculty of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukraine. He has held this position since 2000 and also served as a Leading Scientific Researcher (part-time) at the Institute for Nuclear Research of NAS Ukraine until 2019.
His research focuses on:
- Gamma-emission from equilibrium and pre-equilibrium states
- Statistical description of nuclear reactions
- Damping of collective excitations in hot nuclei
- Memory effects in collision integrals
- Photon strength functions for nuclear reaction modeling
- Shape evolution of giant dipole resonances
Selected publications (2019-1996) demonstrate expertise in nuclear level density, gamma-transition modeling, and Fermi-system dynamics. Recent work includes updating photonuclear data libraries for IAEA and validating theoretical models for gamma-ray strength functions. His research spans both fundamental and applied nuclear physics, with applications to neutron-induced reactions and fission fragment analysis. Scientific awards include grants from INTAS, Soros Foundation, and DFG collaborations. Current projects aim to refine gamma-transition models for nuclear reaction calculations.
