Ronald Fry is a Professor at Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management, Department of Organizational Behavior. He co-created Appreciative Inquiry (AI) and serves as Faculty Director of the Fowler Center for Business as an Agent of World Benefit. He holds the B. Charles Ames Professorship and has been a Stiller Endowed Guest Professor at Champlain College's Cooperrider Center for Appreciative Inquiry.
- Education: PhD (1978) and MS (1971) from MIT's Sloan School of Management, BS (1969) in Systems Engineering from UCLA
Research Focus on large systems change, strength-based methodologies, and business as a force for world benefit. His work bridges AI with sustainability, stakeholder engagement, and organizational transformation through books like Appreciative Inquiry (with Frank Barrett) and Appreciative Team Building (with Whitney et al.).
