معرفی
Dr. Ronald Fawcett is a Professor Emeritus at University of California, Davis, specializing in electrochemistry and surface science. His education includes a Ph.D. from University of Toronto (1965) and extensive postdoctoral work including NATO Fellowship at University of Bristol (1964-1966).
His research examines electrode kinetics using single-crystal electrodes, FTIR spectroscopy, and scanning probe microscopy, with applications in fuel cells, environmental remediation, and biological electron transfer. His innovative work includes developing ultramicroelectrodes and studying redox-driven processes in biological systems.
Publications demonstrate consistent focus on interfacial phenomena, spanning electrode characterization, solvation dynamics, and electron transfer mechanisms. Recent work emphasizes surface-modified electrodes and membrane transport processes.
