Kimberly A. See is a Professor of Chemistry at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), specializing in electrochemical devices. She holds a B.S. from Colorado School of Mines (2009), Ph.D. from University of California, Santa Barbara (2014), and served as a Visiting Associate at Caltech in 2017 before joining as Assistant Professor (2017-2025) and later advancing to Professor (2025-).
Research Interests:
The See Group employs an interdisciplinary approach combining materials chemistry, analytical chemistry, and electrochemistry to study bulk and interfacial structure-property relationships during charge transfer processes. Their work spans solid-state chemistry, redox mechanisms, and advanced characterization techniques like synchrotron methods, in situ Raman/UV-Vis spectroscopy, and electroanalytical studies.
