Prof. Ronald Boellaard is a full professor at the University of Groningen (UMCG) and Amsterdam UMC, specializing in quantitative molecular PET imaging. His research focuses on PET methodology, including kinetic modeling, standardization, radiomics, and AI applications in oncology and brain imaging. He chairs the European PET accreditation program (EARL) and authored the European FDG PET/CT oncology guideline. With an H-index of 81 and over 400 peer-reviewed publications, he contributes to international committees and has advised several PhD students. His work spans clinical and translational research in imaging methodology development.
