Ronald Blair

Ronald Blair is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Management at the Naveen Jindal School of Management, The University of Texas at Dallas. He holds an MBA from Oklahoma University (1973), an M.S. in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas (1960), and a BSBA from the same institution (1960). Blair also completed an Executive Management Certificate Program at Georgetown University (1993–1994) and Alternative Dispute Resolution Training through SMU (1999) and the American Arbitration Association (2003).

His research focuses on taxation, auditing, and regulatory compliance, with notable works addressing IRS audits, litigation cost recovery, and corporate transparency post-accounting restatements. He served as a Senior Lecturer at UT Dallas from 2004 to 2018 and held adjunct roles prior. Blair has 30 years of experience with the IRS and is a Certified Public Accountant in both Texas and Arkansas.

Blair’s professional engagements include speaking at tax conferences (e.g., Tax Alliance Conference 2002, FARS Conference 2008) and presenting at universities such as USC, Georgetown, and SMU. His projects include studies on net operating losses and SEC enforcement trends.

Professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (Tax Section), Texas Society of CPAs, and Texas State Bar Association (Tax and ADR sections). He is also a certified mediator with the Texas Association of Mediators.
