Ron Mak is a Professor at San José State University, affiliated with both the Department of Computer Science and the Department of Computer Engineering within the College of Engineering. He has held roles at NASA Ames Research Center, IBM Research, and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. His expertise spans software design, compilers, enterprise systems, and data analytics. He holds 12 U.S. patents and has authored multiple books on compiler writing and software engineering.
