Dr. Romy Räling is a Visiting Professor at the Chair of Child and Adolescent Development (Free University of Berlin) and a Research Associate at Humboldt University of Berlin's Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences, specializing in Pedagogy for Language and Communication Impairments. She holds a doctorate in Cognitive Science (Patholinguistics) and a diploma in General Linguistics/Patholinguistics from the University of Potsdam.
Her research investigates language disorders, semantic processing, and neurolinguistics, with emphasis on age-of-acquisition effects, boundary perception in speech, and school-based language intervention tools.
