Roman Shchepin

Roman Shchepin is an Assistant Professor at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. He holds a B.S. from Perm State University and a Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His research focuses on hyperpolarized magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques, including parahydrogen-induced polarization (PHIP) and signal amplification by reversible exchange (SABRE). These methods enhance NMR/MRI signal sensitivity for biomedical applications.
