Roman Sereda, DMSc, PA-C, is an Assistant Professor in the Physician Assistant Medicine Department at The University of Tampa. He is a fellowship-trained emergency medicine clinician with administrative and entrepreneurial experience, emphasizing evidence-based medicine, healthcare equity, and operational efficiency.
- Education: Doctorate in Medical Science (DMS) from University of Lynchburg (2021), MSc from Barry University (2014), and B.S. from Delta State University (2009).
Sereda’s research and clinical focus spans emergency medicine, healthcare systems management, and cost-effective clinical protocols. His recent scholarly work includes analyses of medical versus surgical appendicitis management, epistaxis treatment economics, and sepsis protocol updates.
He actively mentors physician assistant (PA) students in Capstone projects and teaches bedside clinical skills to clinical-year PA students. Additionally, he contributes to undergraduate Pre-PA education and curriculum design.
Administratively, Sereda implements data-driven process improvements and leverages entrepreneurial strategies to enhance healthcare delivery. He volunteers in disaster relief, including responses to Hurricanes Ian (2022), Laura (2020), and the McAllen, Texas, COVID-19 relief effort.
