His research centers on the history of philosophy in the Islamic world, particularly Iran from the 18th century to the present, with a focus on transregional interactions, cultural hybridity, and philosophical translation. He employs methodologies from global intellectual history and comparative analysis.
Recent publications include transnational philosophical case studies (e.g., Kant reception in Iran, Mirza Aqa Khan Kermani's global connections) and collaborative works in the Philosophy in the Modern Islamic World network. His scholarship challenges Eurocentric narratives by highlighting interdisciplinary and cross-cultural philosophical exchanges.
