Roman Schwartz

Roman Schwartz is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Theory and History of Fine Arts within the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Academy of Arts in Banská Bystrica. He teaches English, coordinates the Erasmus+ program, and serves as a language consultant and translator for domestic and international projects.

• Education: Mgr. in English Language and Literature from the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the University of Prešov.

His research focuses on art history, transmedia studies, and digital media, informed by collaborations in projects like re-Vízia (2013) and Space and ... (2014). His work often explores interdisciplinary intersections, such as cultural assimilation in visual communication and experimental art narratives.

He contributes to academic publications and has participated in exhibitions including Somaticus (2014) and Pretorium: 770.IDM:BB (2014).
