Roman Krawetz

Dr. Roman Krawetz is an Associate Professor at the University of Calgary's Cumming School of Medicine and a Canada Research Chair holder. He conducts research at the McCaig Institute for Bone and Joint Health, located at the Health Research Innovation Centre (HRIC 3A08). His work bridges stem cell biology and clinical applications in joint disorders.

His research examines how inflammation in osteoarthritis impairs synovial stem cells' ability to regenerate cartilage, aiming to develop novel regenerative therapies. Key interests include:
