Dr Roman Khodykin is a Visiting Lecturer at Queen Mary University of London's School of Law and a Partner at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP. He holds dual qualifications as a Solicitor Advocate (Higher Courts, England & Wales) and a Russian Advocate (Moscow Bar). His career spans legal practice in Russia since 1999, including roles as Senior Fellow and Associate Professor of Private International Law at Moscow State Institute of International Relations (2005–2012). He has taught Commercial Conflict of Laws at Queen Mary (2017–2023) and lectured at Clare College (Cambridge), Paris-Saclay, and Exeter Universities. He served on the ICC Court of International Arbitration (2015–2018) and is regularly appointed as an arbitrator under LCIA and SCC Rules.
