Romain Vaucher is a Senior Lecturer in Sedimentary Geology at James Cook University (Australia) within the School of Earth and Environmental Science. He holds a Ph.D. from Claude Bernard University Lyon 1 (2017), M.Sc. and B.Sc. from the University of Geneva (2012, 2010). His research focuses on sedimentary systems dynamics, integrating field studies, stratigraphy, and ichnology to unravel paleoenvironmental and climatic responses. Key areas include deltaic systems, paleoclimate impacts, and sediment provenance.
