Romain Fournier is a doctoral researcher affiliated with the IGG Team (Geometric and Graphics Computing) at the ICube Laboratory, Université de Strasbourg. His research focuses on real-time rendering techniques, texture transitions, and content-aware algorithms. He is supervised by Basile Sauvage for his PhD thesis in computer graphics, initiated in 2022.
He holds a Master's degree from the University of Montpellier (IMAGINE program). His work has been recognized with the Best Paper Award at the French Computer Graphics Days 2023 for his publication on texture transitions.
Romain teaches Algorithms and Programming I and Web Programming, and supervises Study and Research Work (TER) projects. His research aligns with the IGG team’s expertise in geometric computing, visualization, and 3D graphics.
