معرفی
Nicolas Lutz is a Researcher at the University of Strasbourg, affiliated with the ICube laboratory and the IGG (Geometric and Graphics Computing) team. He holds a position as an ATER doctoral student since 2020 within the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science. His research focuses on texture synthesis, rendering, and visualization, with additional interests in 3D geometry, human-computer interaction, and virtual reality. Lutz completed a Master’s degree in Computer Science (Image Sciences specialization) from the University of Strasbourg in 2017 and is pursuing a PhD under the co-direction of Jean-Michel Dischler and Basile Sauvage.
Education Background:
- PhD Student (2017–present): University of Strasbourg, ICube Lab, IGG Team
- Master's in Computer Science (2017): University of Strasbourg, Image Sciences
His work emphasizes texture synthesis techniques, rendering algorithms, and applications in visualization. Projects include collaborations on platforms like CGoGN and ASTex, focusing on geometric computing and graphics. His recent publication at Eurographics 2021 explores cyclostationary Gaussian noise synthesis, bridging stochastic processes and computer graphics.
Teaching:He teaches courses such as 'Data Structures and Algorithms,' 'Applied Numerical Analysis,' and 'Human-Machine Interaction' at undergraduate and graduate levels.
Laboratories/Teams:Active in the IGG team within ICube, a multidisciplinary lab involving collaborations with ANR, INRIA, CNRS, and regional and European initiatives.
