Roma Perez

Roma Perez is a Professor of Law at the Shepard Broad College of Law, Nova Southeastern University, where she has taught since 2005. Her courses include Bankruptcy Law, Lawyering Skills and Values I & II, and specialized legal research methods in the Masters of Health Law and Masters of Employment Law Programs.

• Education: J.D., magna cum laude, University of Miami (2003); B.A., Political Science, University of Miami (1999)

Her research focuses on Bankruptcy and Confidentiality of Settlement Cases. Prior to academia, she practiced at Weil, Gotshal & Manges, LLP, handling complex corporate bankruptcy reorganizations.

Professional memberships include the American Bar Association, Bankruptcy Bar Association, and American Bankruptcy Institute. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2003.
