Rolf Arvind Gupta is a Professor at the Department of Classical Music and Music Education at the University of Agder. He is an internationally recognized conductor and composer, with significant roles as Chief-Conductor and Artistic Director for orchestras such as the Norwegian Radio Orchestra, Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra, and the Nordic Youth Orchestra. Currently, he works as a freelance conductor and composer, leading festivals like MAGMA2002Berlin and the International Church Music Festival in Kristiansand.
