Roland Stähli

Prof. Dr. Roland Stähli serves as Professor of Methodology and Didactics and Head of the Teaching Department at the School of Agricultural, Forest and Food Sciences (HAFL), Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH). He coordinates all teaching activities across bachelor's and master's programs in Agriculture, Food Science, Forest Science, and Life Sciences while managing curriculum development, quality assurance, and digital transformation initiatives.

His research focuses on:

• Psychology of learning and knowledge acquisition processes
• Methodology and didactics in vocational/higher education
• Knowledge creation and transfer systems
• Educational institution development
• Sustainable development and STEM (MINT) education frameworks

Prof. Stähli actively leads BFH's participation in swissuniversities projects including SUDAC (international cooperation) and MINT education networks. He holds strategic roles in BFH teaching committees, digitalization groups, and sustainability initiatives while engaging with external networks like FoBBIZ and Bernese sustainable development consortia.
