Roland Bénabou is a Professor at Princeton University with a joint appointment in the Department of Economics and the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, where he has been faculty since 1999. He holds a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
His research integrates macroeconomics and microeconomics, focusing on three primary domains:
- Inequality, economic growth, social mobility, and redistribution policies
- Education systems, social interactions, and urban socioeconomic structures
