Dr. Rohini Ramadas is an Assistant Professor at the Mathematics Institute of the University of Warwick. Her research focuses on algebraic geometry, dynamical systems, and tropical geometry, with a particular emphasis on moduli spaces, complex dynamics, and combinatorial structures. She has received the NSF Postdoctoral Fellowship (2017-2021) and has published extensively in top-tier journals such as Mathematische Zeitschrift, Ergodic Theory and Dynamical Systems, and Advances in Mathematics.
Her work bridges algebraic geometry and dynamics, exploring topics like cycle classes on moduli spaces, Thurston obstructions, and monomial correspondences. Recent contributions include studies on quadratic maps' arithmetic properties, post-critically finite maps, and permutohedral complexes. Dr. Ramadas teaches MA4A5 Algebraic Geometry and maintains an active personal research homepage: https://sites.google.com/view/rohini-ramadas/home.
- Key Research Areas: Moduli spaces, algebraic dynamics, tropical geometry, and combinatorics of geometric structures.
- Publications Highlight: Over 15 peer-reviewed articles analyzing dynamical invariants and geometric structures, with a focus on higher-dimensional dynamics and compactifications.
