Dr. Rohina Alim is an Adjunct Research Fellow at the Rural Health Research Institute, Charles Sturt University. Her research spans cancer biology, oral health, and molecular diagnostics, with a current focus on periodontitis and its associated pathogen Trichomonas tenax.
- PhD in Cancer Research (Charles Sturt University, 2021)
- Honours in Cancer Research (Charles Sturt University, 2029)
Her expertise lies in anticancer drug development, cell manipulation, and assay design. She bridges oncology and oral health to explore therapeutic strategies for periodontal disease.
Her work has been recognized through open-access publications and collaborations in molecular diagnostics. She is actively involved in research that connects lysosomal targeting of antineoplastic agents with metal sequestration and ROS generation.
