Roger Tormoehlen is a Professor in the Department of Agricultural & Biological Engineering at Purdue University. He holds a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Agricultural Education and Health and Safety from Purdue. He leads engineering initiatives in the Indiana 4-H program, focusing on aerospace, equipment safety, and disability inclusion through the Perfect Fit program. His research emphasizes computer-aided instruction and multimedia tools for youth education, including tractor safety and disaster preparedness programs. Dr. Tormoehlen has received numerous awards for safety advocacy, including the National Safety Council's Distinguished Service Award (2002). He develops curricula for PK-12 students and advises on agricultural safety standards.
