Dr. Roger Klein is a Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh's Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences. He holds a PhD in Educational Psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo and began his career at Pitt's Learning Research and Development Center (LRDC), applying Skinnerian operant conditioning techniques to improve student performance. His research interests shifted to television news, focusing on learning from news content and audience reactions. He has worked as a part-time health reporter for WPXI-TV (NBC Pittsburgh) and contributed to media projects for CNBC, PBS, and textbook publishers like McGraw-Hill, Cengage, and SAGE. He is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Screen Actors Guild/American Federation of TV and Radio Artists (SAG/AFTRA).
