Roger Colbeck is a Lecturer in Finance at the University of Tasmania's Tasmanian School of Business and Economics. He holds a PhD (2021) from the same institution, focusing on the decision-making behavior of self-managed superannuation fund (SMSF) trustees. His expertise spans superannuation, socially responsible investing, retirement outcomes, and financial planning. Colbeck has over a decade of tertiary teaching experience, coordinating programs like the Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning and teaching courses such as Financial Planning, Investment Planning, and Risk and Estate Planning. He is an ASIC-authorized financial adviser and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®).
